This past weekend, I attended Staple, an Independent Media Expo. Two of my friends, Rachel Weiss and Jonathan Barcelo-Iniguez, exhibited their comic, 6 dollars, please. I also bought a piece titled "the island," created on recycled paper with vegetable-derived ink.

The last friday of every month, a plethora of bike riders take over the streets of Austin in what is called Critical Mass. The October 30, 2009 ride, one day before Halloween, was occupied with riders in consume. Here are just a few snapshots.

I got my wrist band and brochure to the AIA Austin Homes Tour today. This year, the clean and modifiable identity was created by FODA Studio. I really like the logo, which is an abstraction of the homes' location on a map. Take a closer look at the concept here.

Last week, the Austonian officially topped out, reaching its full height at 683 feet. It is the tallest residential tower in the western United States. Two weeks ago, I got to go on a photo shoot of the project, taking shots from the 10th floor amenity deck, the 34th floor, and a 53rd floor penthouse.
