I'm currently waiting in the Continental Presidents Club lounge at George Bush Intercontinental airport in Houston. My flight doesn't leave for another hour or so, so I'm using this time to write my first blog entry in this series and catch up on my Google Reader. 

I'm very excited for this trip. I'll be sure to take a lot of photographs and post some on here. Here's a breakdown on the photography equipment I brought:

  • 3 x 8GB HDSC memory cards
  • 18-105mm AF-S VR Nikkor Lens
  • 70-300mm AF-S VR Nikkor Lens
  • 50mm f1.8 Manual Nikon Prime Lens
  • MacBook for photo storage and editing
